Fibre Internet Support

Preliminary troubleshooting support. Still having issues? Contact our customer care team.

If you are experiencing issues with your FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) internet, it’s important to contact your ISP’s technical support team as soon as possible. However, before doing so, there are a few preliminary troubleshooting steps you can take:

  1. Check all cables and connections to ensure everything is securely connected and functioning properly.
  2. Restart your router and modem by unplugging them for a few minutes and plugging them back in.
  3. Check for any service outages or maintenance notifications.
  4. Run a speed test to determine if the issue is related to slow internet speeds.

When contacting technical support, be prepared to provide details about the issue and follow their instructions for any further troubleshooting or potential solutions. They may also be able to offer advice on optimizing your home network for better performance.

Will My Existing Phone Work?

Any standard analogue telephone will work, including wireless phone sets.  If your home is pre-wired with phone jacks, they can also be connected to the Axle Telecom Home phone.  Additional charges may apply with home wiring.

How Does Axle Telecom’s Home Phone Work?

Your home phone service will directly connect to Axle Telecom’s network via an ATA that we provide. This will allow your standard home phone or your internal home phone wiring to connect.

Can I Keep My Existing Number?

Usually yes, check with our customer care team to see if your number is portable and eligible to be transferred to Axle Telecom’s home phone.

There are some requirements for keeping your phone numbers and ordering new numbers. We provide customers with a Letter of Authorization and Limitation of Liability to be completed, along with a copy of page 1 of their most current phone bill. Porting process doesn’t start until all forms have been completed and returned prior to their installation.  If looking at obtaining a new number, then all we require is the 911 form to be completed.

Internet Speed Test: Measure Your Connection with Axle Telecom

Our internet speed test is the easiest way to measure the performance of your connection in just seconds. Still having issues? Contact our customer care team.

It provides an accurate look at your current speeds, allowing you to confirm you’re getting the performance you expect from your Axle Telecom fibre connection.
